Getting back on the horse

Well, I haven't written for a while. To tell you the truth, I've been in kind of a slump lately. Life at home is busy with kids' activities ,volunteering and a full-time job. I'm going through changes in my life which at my age require pills and patches, shots & creams, etc.... should I go on? I feel run down, tired and highly confused all the time.

BUT, I'm not going to let that stop me in my quest to be a published writer. Right now, I'm just a writer. I know, I know...  I shouldn't say "just" but I really want to be published and for people to read my work. So, I'm going to plug away and try to eat right and exercise and get all my hormone replacements (oh boy...) so I can function as a writer.

I guess this post is a reminder to myself as well as more practice in my writing and trying to still be active as a writer. I know that keeping a blog or website going and visible is very important in building your platform. This is my attempt to get back into the swing.

So, I will try to be more visible and "out there" with my blog and platform. I will focus on the positive and not let any hormones or lack of sleep get in the way of my writing. Nothing short of someone cutting off my hands will stop me from pursuing my dream as a writer. And in that case, I guess I'd have to learn to write with my teeth. (*smile*).
